IZIVIZA AGENCY
DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY UNDERTAKING
This Undertaking is entered into by the Visa Agency (“Agency”) using the AIISco (“iziViza”) platform, for the purpose of protecting personal data accessed through the platform.
1. Data Controller Status and Liability
The Agency acknowledges that from the moment it downloads or views documents belonging to applicants (Users) via the iziViza platform, it assumes the status of an independent "Data Controller" in accordance with KVKK and relevant data protection laws. The Agency is exclusively liable for any data breach that may occur after the data is transferred to its own systems.
2. Purpose and Limitations of Data Processing
The Agency undertakes to use passports, biometric data, and other sensitive documents obtained from the platform solely and exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the relevant user's visa application procedures. Using this data for marketing, statistics, or providing benefits to third parties is strictly prohibited.
3. Technical and Administrative Measures
- The Agency undertakes to store documents downloaded from the platform in encrypted environments and protect them against unauthorized access.
- Agency personnel may only access the relevant data on a "need-to-know" basis.
- The Agency is responsible for the secure destruction of digital copies of documents once the visa process is finalized or the legal retention periods have expired.
4. Administrative Fines and Recourse
The Agency is liable for any administrative fines imposed on iziViza by the Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or any compensation paid to third parties due to the Agency's breach of data security obligations. iziViza reserves the right to seek full recourse from the Agency for any such amounts paid.
